Good morning!
It is such as beautiful morning today on this 4th of July.
Birds are chirping, not one cloud in the sky – even the sun isn’t as hot as it normally is.
I’m really excited because today is one of my favorite holidays. For all the good and the bad, I am proud to be an American. For me, I grew up saying the pledge of allegiance every morning and to this day, still, tear up when I hear the national anthem.
On top of that, living in Florida means you get fireworks on the beach!
I guess the other reason why today is one of my favorite days is because it makes me reflect…
I am always thinking about “Imagine what it would have been like to be on the battlefield fighting for independence…’
“Imagine what Francis Scott Key (who wrote the anthem) was feeling when all he had was the light of the bombs to see if the flag was still there…”
It makes you appreciate and also think about how progress, growth, and independence never comes easy.
I regularly look at all the ads on my Facebook newsfeed to see what people are advertising, the copy and imagery they are using, as well as what the comments are…
This gives me insight into the market.
What I often notice is many people advertising some solution that is supposed to make X problem really easy for you to overcome.
In my experience, there is no such thing as an easy button -especially for online marketing.
- Building a funnel is not easy
- Researching your market is not easy
- Running Paid Traffic with Facebook is not easy
- Building an engaged email audience is not easy
Nothing is easy when it comes to online marketing.
Just like other things in life that you really want to achieve, you are going to have to put in some work to really make things happen.
Again, no easy button
- Losing weight
- Learning how to dance
- Becoming a fighter
- Writing a book
Nothing is easy…
But I have also come to learn that while it may not be easy it is fairly simple.
One of my favorite quotes is:
“Nothing gets easier, you only get better”
If you want to succeed with your online marketing, then all you have to do is:
- Research your market to create a solution
- Build out a funnel so people can acquire that solution
- Run paid traffic so people are aware of that solution
- Use email to continue to educate and sell.
Literally four steps…again simple, but not easy.
Never look for something that tells you ‘It’s going to be easy.” Chances are that you’ll end up getting ripped off or even worse, see no results at all.
Put in the hard work, stay consistent, and you’ll see success on the other side.
Online marketing is not easy, but it is simple – and you are more than capable of finding success and winning online.
I hope you have a great day today as well as a fun and safe 4th of July. ‘Merica!
